Credentials

What you need before we step on site.

Whether you're a PM vetting a new vendor or a procurement buyer building a subcontract package, here's everything you'll need. Questions on anything below? Call us directly β€” we'll get you documentation the same business day.

FAA Part 107 certification

All Latus flights are conducted by FAA Part 107-certified remote pilots. We manage airspace authorizations, LAANC approvals, and any airspace restrictions applicable to your project site β€” so your team doesn't have to.

Insurance

Commercial general liability and drone-specific aviation liability coverage is provided on a per-flight, per-project basis. A certificate of insurance (COI) naming your entity as an additional insured is available for every project β€” standard for any project that requires vendor compliance documentation. Recurring annual coverage will be activated once a recurring contract is in place.

Safety & site coordination

We coordinate with your superintendent before every first visit: flight windows, active work zones, exclusion areas, PPE requirements, radio channels, and any crew restrictions. We fly before crew call when possible to minimize disruption. Every pilot carries site-specific emergency contact information.

Data custody & ownership

You own your data β€” full stop. We host a technical archive during the project (full-resolution orthos, raw imagery, any derived models) and hand off the complete bundle at closeout. No platform lock-in, no ongoing hosting fees, no proprietary format that requires our software to open. Standard deliverables are PDF, GeoTIFF, and JPG.

MSA & subcontracting

We work under a standard Master Services Agreement (MSA) that covers scope, payment terms, data ownership, confidentiality, and insurance requirements. We also work under client-provided subcontracts for contractors whose procurement departments require their own templates. We're set up for ACH payments and standard net-30 terms.

Coverage footprint

Headquartered in Denver, CO. We serve projects across Colorado, Florida, Georgia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our pilot network covers our non-Denver service areas β€” scheduling and delivery are coordinated from Denver for all locations. Project-based work outside these regions is available on request.

Not a surveyor (and why that matters)

We are not licensed surveyors. Latus Report provides visual documentation, indicative quantities, and progress visibility for business conversations β€” not legal boundary determination, not platting, not construction staking. We work alongside your surveyor, not in place of them. The annotated orthomosaic and the surveyor's as-built are complementary, not competitive.

Ready to see your site differently?

We'll send a quote and a sample packet tuned to your project type, site size, and cadence. No demo. No platform walkthrough. Just a packet β€” the same format you'd receive every week. Most quotes ship within one business day.
