One catch pays for the entire program
Latus doesn't need to prevent every problem. It needs to prevent one per year. The packet is not just a report — it's timestamped visual evidence usable in disputes, insurance claims, pay-apps, and change-order fights.
Subcontractor disputes
A single disputed pour or curb run costs $5K–$25K in rework or legal fees. The change page shows side-by-side what was actually poured each week. One avoided dispute covers 2–6 months of Latus.
Insurance claims
After a storm or site incident, adjusters ask for pre-loss conditions. A dated, georeferenced orthomosaic from within 7 days is the difference between a denied claim and an approved one. One claim pays for a year.
Pay-application support
When an owner's rep questions whether 2,400 tons of aggregate base were placed, you forward the packet. Before/after on the change page, close-up on the media page. Pay-app approved — no hours lost defending line items.
Change-order protection
A discrepancy caught late — "the sub didn't install those sleeves before the pour" — costs $15K–$50K+. The weekly change page surfaces these early, before they become change orders.
