Latus doesn't need to prevent every problem. It needs to prevent one per year. Every packet is dated, georeferenced, and consistent week to week — a visual record that supports your conversations in disputes, pay-apps, and change-order discussions. For legal-grade evidence or certified quantities, engage your surveyor.
Subcontractor disputes
When work quality or scope is contested, the change page shows side-by-side what was actually on site each week. A clear visual record shortens the argument — one avoided dispute can cover months of the program.
Storm & incident record
After a storm or site incident, a dated, georeferenced orthomosaic from within the preceding week gives you and your adjuster a clear picture of pre-loss conditions. Visual support for the conversation — not a substitute for a formal claim process.
Pay-application support
When an owner's rep questions whether work was placed, you forward the packet — before/after on the change page, close-up on the media page. Quantities shown are indicative (±10–15%); certified payment quantities still require your surveyor's stamp.
Change-order protection
A discrepancy caught late — "the sub didn't install those sleeves before the pour" — gets expensive fast. The weekly change page surfaces these early, before they become change orders.
